After Almost 10 years of providing tasty, wholesome Greek food, a great atmosphere, sparkling live entertainment and endless fun for guests, Theo’s Greek Taverna from October 2006 has changed management and is now named Kosmos Greek Taverna. After a very busy pre Christmas period, the Taverna was closed in January for renovation to create a more original Greek Taverna atmosphere, before reopening with the new name - Kosmos Greek Taverna. New owner “Babis Arapogiannis” is no stranger to hospitality and the Greek experience.

He is a trained chef and having worked in Greek establishments both in Auckland and Greece for many years prior to moving to Wellington, where he has lived for 8 years.

Babis has also previously worked for the Greek Embassy and also as an assistant chef at Theo’s Greek Taverna in 1999 and is familiar with the establishment. You will come to know Babis’s enthusiasm and bubbly nature along with his authentic Greek background, he invites you to “the total Greek ‘taverna’ experience ”
